Sad Romance/Sad Violin Tutorial & Sheet Music

Sad Romance, also known as Sad Violin, is a poignant and emotive violin composition by Korean musician Thao Nguyen Xanh. The piece is characterized by its delicate, melancholic melody that evokes deep feelings of nostalgia, loss, and longing. The hauntingly beautiful violin arrangement, often accompanied by soft piano chords, creates a sense of sorrowful elegance, and is frequently used in films and dramas.

This piece is in the key of A Minor, but how do we know that? Each key signature has two possibilities: the major key and the minor key. The first clue is that the piece has an overall sad character or "vibe", so it's more likely to be in a minor key. A piece in a major key would sound happy and joyful. The second clue is that the last note of the piece is A, which does not appear in a C chord.

This is an intermediate level tune because it does require some shifting. The lines that you see connecting some of the notes in the first line of music mean to create a slide between those two notes.
