Spongebob Squarepants Theme | Violin Tutorial & Sheet Music

When I was a kid, I didn't have cable TV at my house, and the only way to watch Spongebob was on Nickelodeon, which required cable. I wanted cable TV soooo bad; I asked my mom for it every Christmas and was totally devastated that I didn't get it every year! Now as an adult, I totally understand why she didn't want to get cable TV: 1) why pay for TV when you can get it for free? and 2) I don't want my kid watching TV all day! With that being said, I didn't get to watch a ton of Spongebob, but my grandparents had cable and so I watched it whenever I was at their house. Spongebob is one of the classic and iconic kids TV shows that is still super popular today. The theme song is recognizable, even to those who haven't seen Spongebob in their life!
This tune is late beginner/early intermediate level, primarily due to one shift. However, this shift is not necessary-you can play the high C with a fourth finger extension from first position. It's in the key of G Major and in 4/4 time. Be sure to download the free sheet music and watch the tutorial below.
